Libbie of Libbie Holmes Photography is one of the sweetest Photographers I know. And her work is stunning. She is also a lot of fun to be around, which makes her a wedding vendor that I absolutely love to work with! Libbie and I had started discussing an illuminated winter styled shoot when we first met for coffee, almost a year earlier. But life kept us both busy, so we weren’t be able to execute our idea for about thirteen months. But, boy, was it worth the wait!
The shoot took place during the opening of the Carmen W Gallery and was to be the main form of entertainment on the first opening day. We were honored to be featured in such a unique way! To execute such an elaborate shoot, Libbie and I joined forces with a group of top-notch wedding professionals, including A Touch of Bliss, The Modern Edge Events & Catering, Allwell Rents, The Bundt Shoppe, Artistry Events & Design, 50 Dresses, Maggie Evans Designs, and April Franklin Hair and Makeup.
We created a nighttime winter wedding scene, full of lush greenery and fully illuminated with candles, bulb lights, chandeliers, and LED lights tucked in between the flowers of the bouquets. The bridal bouquet was a gorgeous euro-cascade style, created from Polar Star Roses, Scabiosa Pods, White Carnations, Smilax, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, White Snow Dahlias, Song of India, Rhamnus, and Mint. The bridesmaid bouquet was a smaller, hand-tied bouquet created from Polar Star Roses, Scabiosa Pods, White Carnations, Silver Dollar Eucalyptus, White Snow Dahlias, and Rhamnus.
This styled shoot was featured in COUTUREcolorado, which you can read about HERE.
A BIG thank you to the lovely models and to all the vendors that worked on this styled shoot. We had a truly incredible team!
