MOLLY & DERRICK – April, 2015 » Love Letters Floral Design

I first met Molly at a bridal show, more than a year out from her wedding. Wedding floral design is always a collaborative and creative process between the florist and client(s), so having time to really think through and discuss the different possibilities resulted in some incredibly beautiful floral designs for Molly and Derrick’s spring wedding. It was a ton of fun collaborating with you, Molly!

Molly chose a gorgeous combination for her bridal bouquet that included light pink hydrangea, voyage garden roses, vendela roses, creamy pink spray roses, white swan calla lilies, succulents, and peach astilbe, with a variety her grandmother’s beautiful antique brooches tucked in between the blooms. Her bouquet was wrapped in white lace, with a single stem calla lily tied to the bouquet by an additional piece of lace. Molly gave this flower to her mom in a super sweet gesture as she walked up to the altar. What a unique idea! Her bridesmaids carried smaller bouquets of white hydrangea, vendela roses, creamy pink spray roses, and dusty miller. Derrick wore a white swan calla lily and astilbe boutonniere, while his groomsmen were adorned with creamy pink spray rose and dusty miller boutonnieres.

Ashely’s work is absolutely stunning and she is a vendor I greatly enjoy working with. As a Wedding Florist, one of the parts I love best about my job is seeing all the beautiful pictures post-wedding. I was wowed by all these beautiful images.
