I have a soft spot for Holiday-themed weddings. Holidays are special by themselves, but when you combine them with weddings – WOW!! They are so much fun! I love when all the little novelties of a Holiday are incorporated into an event as unique as someone’s wedding. Melanie and Jamie did just that. They were married this past 4th of July with a ceremony at the Althea Center and a reception at the Tears McFarlane House, and they included many of the fun, 4th of July design concepts into their wedding. They wanted to change it up just a bit, though, so instead of red, white, and blue, their color scheme was a vibrant hot pink, white, and blue.
Melanie chose a beautiful combination for her bridal bouquet that included Kate garden roses, Pink Piano garden roses, Pink Sky dahlias, white anemones, light pink stock, and Queen Anne’s Lace. Her bridesmaids carried smaller bouquets of Pink Piano garden roses, Chery O roses, Pink Sky dahlias, light pink stock, and blue cornflower. Jamie and his groomsmen wore boutonnieres made from hot pink spray roses held together with wine corks.
Thank you to Ryan Brackin Photography for the beautiful images! Thank you also to Adrienne of Adrienne & Co. Luxury Events. Adrienne is incredibly sweet, super responsive, and very much organized, which are all qualities that I love and appreciate about Wedding Planners. She is a great person to work with!
Melanie and Jamie, congratulations!! I hope this year is going wonderfully! All the best to you both!!
