2015 was the year I really got my feet wet with styled shoots. Not only was I involved in a variety of styled shoots, but I took the reins in coordinating a few of my own. Styled shoots are hugely popular among wedding professionals – for good reason. Putting together a mock wedding scene is a chance for vendors to collaborate in a less restrictive setting. Not only is there more time to play around with the photography than during a real wedding, but vendors can bring their own vision to life in regards their specific craft. It’s a time when out-of-the-box creativity can really flourish.
This Love is in Bloom styled shoot was formed around the idea to incorporate a love letter in a bouquet. The shoot was executed on one of the snowiest springs days in Denver, with almost blizzard-like conditions. The incredible team I worked with braved the rough weather. What we created that day was nothing short of amazing. Thank you to Laura of Laura Murray Photography for working her magic with the camera. Gorgeous, gorgeous images. And thank you to all the vendors who made this shoot possible: Patina Preferred, Felicity Allyse Floral & Paper Artistry, Splendor for Your Guests, Annemarie Veils and Adornments, Emma & Grace Bridal, Donna Beth Creations, Tears McFarlane House, Alchemy Creative, Astonishing Cakes, and Kelsey Luciano Productions. Lastly, thank you to our gorgeous models, Madi and Tasos. You were an incredible team to work with!
It was an honor to featured in the National Publication, Grey Likes Weddings. You can see the styled shoot featured HERE. Also, the lovely behind-the-scenes video created by Kelsey Luciano Productions can be viewed HERE.
