Teresa and Woody’s summer wedding was the first time I created floral arrangements for a fellow wedding professional. Teresa is an awesome photographer (Tega Photography) and her husband, Woody, is often her second shooter. Being in the wedding industry, Teresa and Woody have see a ton of floral arrangements, so I was honored, to say the least, when Teresa reached out to me to discuss flowers for her own wedding. I knew the bar would be set high to create something spectacular that Teresa would love.
Their beautiful, rustic wedding incorporated a color pallet of teal, champagne, and dark grey. Teresa’s bridal bouquet was created from caramel antike garden roses, vendela roses, sea holly thistle, billy balls, purple statice, lavender, seeded eucalyptus, and a handful of different succulents, all wrapped in satin ribbon with an overlay of burlap. She wore a beautiful head piece that consisted of ivory spray roses, billy balls, lavender, seeded eucalyptus, and mini succulents. Her nine bridesmaids wore three different shades of turquoise and carried smaller bouquets of sea holly thistle, billy balls, purple statice, seeded eucalyptus, and “chick and hen” succulents. Woody wore a boutonniere made from a mini succulent, ivory spray roses, and seeded eucalyptus. The groomsmen, in various shades of grey, wore mini succulents, lavender, and seeded eucalyptus.
Teresa and Woody’s wedding was held at the beautiful Evergreen Lake House. The photographer, June of June Cochran Photography, was someone I had yet to work with, but I am so happy I did. June’s work is absolutely gorgeous and the pictures of Teresa and Woody’s wedding are stunning.
Teresa and Woody – congratulations on this big step in your lives! Enjoy all the wonderful things to come. I look forward to working with you both in the future.
