I am honored to feature this lovely vintage and classic-looking wedding! Holly and Tom were married this summer at the historic Grant Humphries Mansion. When Holly, her wedding planner, Jennifer of Denver Event Pros, and I met for an initial consultation, I was wowed by the fact that Holly wanted to make her wedding extra special by wearing her grandmother’s wedding dress from 1949. How neat is that??? The off-white satin gown had an incredibly long and gorgeous train. Katie of KB Digital Designs captured the wedding beautifully – I absolutely love the picture of the train spread out in between the white columns of the Grant Humphries Mansion. Simply stunning!
Holly wanted subtle and earthy colors for her wedding flowers, so we chose a combination for her bridal bouquet that included light blue hydrangea, lavender stock, misty blue, billy balls, seeded eucalyptus, white spray roses, and succulents. The bridesmaids’ bouquets were a smaller version of Holly’s bouquet minus the white spray roses. Tom’s boutonniere was created from a mini succulent, white spray rose blooms, and eucalyptus seeds. The groomsmens’ boutonnieres included mini succulents and eucalyptus seeds.
Holly and Tom – congratulations on your marriage! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your special day. All the best and much happiness to you both!
